Terms of Service
Anyone who purchases from Horroar hound must read and agree to all terms of service to purchase a premade or buy a commission. Before any work is done, or the customer is required to submit a signed version of the Horroar Hound Terms of Service, this document, before any business or creation of goods, goods being any fursuit product, can be purchased, commissioned, or mailed.
Payments and Refunds
All payments are to be made through Square Point of Sale. Prices vary depending on the item(s) purchased. Prices are non-negotiable. As soon as the full amount is paid commission work will begin progress. If the item purchased is a premade, after full payment is made the item will be shipped as soon as possible. Horroar Hound does accept payment plans. A required 50% of the total price is required for a downpayment. This downpayment is non-refundable unless in a few special cases of falsification of an ID (see below). In any other cases i.e. the client backs out of payment or cancels payment the 50% non-refundable deposit will not be refunded no matter the progress in the commission. If the commission has been finished and shipped no refund will be given. If premade only 30% of the down payment is non-refundable and will not be refunded even if the item(s) have not been shipped. If the premade has been shipped a refund will not be made. As a general rule, all shipped goods and complete commission customers will NOT be given a refund. This includes shipping prices. Shipping prices are non-refundable.
Order and Commission Cancellations and Returns
We strongly discourage backing out of orders. Please see the refund policies above. In the case of a premade, cancellations are accepted BEFORE shipping. After shipping the order cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded. In the case of a commission, the order can be canceled up to the furring stage. After patterning and cutting of fur the item will become non-cancelable and at this point becomes non-refundable. The customer will be given notice as soon as this stage is reached and may choose to have a 3 day grace period to choose if they wish to have the order canceled or not, no work will be done during this grace period. At any point after this the order will be continued, finished, and shipped. Horror Hound does not accept returns. After the costume and/or goods have been shipped no returns or refund will be made. We have a no return policy due to COVID issues and to help protect our company from scamming.
Age Purchase Terms
Horroar Hound requires that anyone purchasing one of our costumes, costume being a fursuit, must be 18 or older to purchase. We require proof of age with a photo ID that has the buyer's name, date of birth, and photo. We also require a photo to confirm the ID photo. A buyer under the age of 18 may have a parent or legal guardian proxy the purchase. The proxy is required to actively participate/ be involved in payments, exchange of money, and shipping. All design elements can be discussed and dealt with without said proxy, however, if they wish to remain in the loop a group chat or copies of messages can be shared with the proxy.
On the occurrence that the customer's ID is invalidated: invalidated being that the ID is falsified i.e. the ID is fake, stolen, or used without the ID holder's consent, the purchase will be immediately declined. If the purchase in question is a commission and already in progress, the downpayment will not be refunded (see payment information and refund policies above). Depending on how much work has been done on the commission, Horror Hound may not give a refund. The rest of the purchase will be refunded as soon as possible but the customer will not receive the non-refundable down payment. If no progress or work has been done and an ID is found to be invalidated, then a full refund will be made. In the case of a premade, the non-refundable deposit will also be able to be refunded if the ID is invalidated and no shipping progress is made. If the item has already been shipped, the downpayment will not be refunded. The rest of the payment will also NOT be refunded if a shipment has been made in cases of a premade or a commission. Customers who are found to have a falsified ID will be blacklisted.
Repairs and Damages
If, when received, the costume has damages you may be liable for free fixes. Holes in the seams, fallen out teeth, small tears, or issues with eyes, along with other small damages can be sent back to us and fixed free of charge aside from shipping charges. Larger damages such as large tears and holes, torn-off ears, muzzles, or large damages to eyes do have a fee depending on the amount of damage. All damages done by shipping apply to these terms along with any notices upon receiving the costume/ goods. All products are checked over before sending off so any damages done are most likely done by shipping, however, all small damages are still able to be fixed free of charge, other than shipping charges, no matter the cause of issues. All small damages must be reported within one week, Monday- Sunday, after the package arrival to be eligible for free fixed. After one week all damages will be charged. All customers receive a product fix discount on large and small damages for the suit from Horroar Hound. The only requirement is shipping be paid in both directions as in all cases.
Shipping
Shipping within the United States is included with costume and goods pricing, shipping outside of the United States will be priced separately and will be individually priced depending on the destination. In the cases of repairs needed (see Repairs and Damages above) the customer is required to pay all shipping fees to and from destinations. Horror Hound is not liable for damages done to goods and costumes during shipping, however, the buyer may be entitled to free repairs. ( see Repairs and Damages above). All packages will be sent via USPS unless the customer requests a different method be used. In the case of a lost package, Horror Hound will get in touch with shipping companies and attempt to find and solve the issue. If the package remains lost we, unfortunately, cannot offer a refund. The customer will receive a coupon for future purchases with Horroar Hound and will receive a small compensation package with art, kandi( the bracelets and the food) along with the said coupon.
Resales
Resales are permitted and Horroar Hound DOES NOT require to be paid any amount of resale price. You may not pass off Horroar Hound's work as your own. You may not sell the product for higher than you initially paid for the product.
Deadlines
At Horroar Hound we do not make deadlines. Deadlines push rushed work and make products prone to more inconsistency and damage because of rush dates. We do not allow payments to move up the commission line or implement a due date for the products. No due dates or completion dates will be accepted or made.
By signing this document you agree to all of our Terms and conditions in this Terms of Service and acknowledge that you have read the entirety of the document and understand our terms and agree and will adhere to them. This is a legally binding document.
